Growing up in Sweden I was fotrunate enough to travel all over Europe, where I caught the travel bug. After moving to the United States, my passion for travel brought me into the travel business. My travels have taken me to many wonderful destinations around the world so I am able to provide this first-hand experience to my clients. Most of my travel is done for the luxury leisure traveler creating wonderful and exciting holidays however I also handle some corporate business. I also enjoy planning family or friend groups; a great way to stay connected while touring the world.

I began working in the travel industry in 1978, taking over as manager of Neiman Marcus in 1983 until its closing in 2002. I am a very detailed person so no task is too difficult. I speak fluent Spanish so many of my clients are from Mexico.

I have been working with Kahala Travel since September 2003, and over 20 years' experience in the travel business. My husband Chuck, and I have been married 45 years and are blessed with three children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. We both love to travel and our favorite travel destinations are Hawaii and cruising to exotic places. I have enjoyed many cruises including a family cruise on Disney Cruise lines which was spectacular. Talk about a bonding with the grandkids. I also have experience with many types of groups - especially sports travel. Soccer has long been my favorite sport and for many years have enjoyed working with families that need special help for their team travel. My other hobby is quilting and have organized several quilting cruises with a local quilt shop. Quilting on a cruise ship is a wonderful relaxing experience.

I love to travel and feel grateful every time I have the opportunity to visit new destinations understanding I am one of the lucky ones. Each location brings a new wonder and appreciation for the diversities in our world including landscape, architecture, cultures and food; each different and all unique! I have traveled extensively throughout Western & Eastern Europe, Israel, Mexico and Caribbean, South Pacific and many places in the US including 100+ times to Hawaii. Cruising the world on most of the cruise lines has become a favorite with family and friends; an easy way to get around to lots of beautiful locations while only unpacking once.

I am a working owner, founding Kahala Travel in 1987. I enjoy planning romantic holidays, exploration vacations and affinity groups but I really like working with families of 3 or 4 generations, planning their time away together!
